What is URL?

یکی اژ واژه های تخصصی و پر کاربرد در دنیای وبURL است. این عبارت مخفف واژه "Uniform Resource Locator" به مفهوم " مشخص کنندهٔ یکتای منبع" می باشد. که البته به نظر می آید ترجمه سلیس و روانی نیست.شاید ترجمه غیرتحت لفظی" آدرس منحصر به فرد یک صفحه وب " ترجمه بهتری باشد.

به عبارت دیگر آدرس یک صفحه وب - اعم ازمتن ، تصویریا هر فرم دیگر- در اینترنت را" یو- آر- ال" را می گویند. URL هر صفحه وب در اینترنت منحصر به همان صفحه می باشد. URL ها با عبارت http:// آغاز می شود. اگر بگوییم به تعداد صفحات وب در اینترنت URL وجود دارد سخن گزافی نگفته ایم.

به عنوان مثالURL این وبلاگ http://tehrani7.blogspot.com/ می باشد. دسترسی به صفحه نخست وبلاگ با وارد کردن این عبارت در مرورگر امکان پذیر است ، اما هر Post یا عکس،URL منحصر به خود را دارد.

پیش از این این واژه مخفف " Universal Resource Locator" بود .
